Vincent Hancock pulled out a dominating performance at the ISSF World Cup in Acapulco, Mexico, earning the gold medal in Men’s Skeet.

Hancock scored a perfect score in Qualifications nailing 125 out of 125 targets. Based out of Eatonton, Georgia, Hancock was the only athlete to enter the final with a perfect score. Hancock continued his impressive performance, hitting a perfect score in the Final with 60 out of 60 targets downed.

Though Hancock shot 125 in Qualification back in 2015 at the ISSF World Cup event, also held in Acapulco, this was his first time earning a perfect 60 out of 60 Final in international competition.

Hancock said on social media that he felt excited to take gold and represent the USA. “Wow… To have shot a perfect match once again and walk away with gold is a culmination of so many things. All I can say is thank you God for this wonderful opportunity that you have given me through the shooting sports. I couldn’t do any of this without my sponsors and my amazing family.”

This is Hancock’s 11th World Cup gold medal, pushing Team USA closer to its goal of the 2020 Olympics to be held in Japan.
