The Rifleman’s rifle is now more equipped to tackle harsh conditions. Furnished with a Tungsten Cerakote, the metalwork receives this added layer of corrosion-resistance. The rigid Bell and Carlson synthetic stock is finished with TrueTimber VSX camo, pairing nicely with the Tungsten Cerakote. As usual, the Pre-’64 style controlled round feed and claw extractor bolt design makes this action the most reliable in the game. It’s no wonder this Model 70 is titled Extreme.

This variant of the Model 70 is specifically designed to resist the elements for those hunts in harsher conditions. Aside from the handsome camouflage finish, the Bell and Carlson synthetic stock features a sculpted cheekpiece and is topped off with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The bolt handle is knurled and compliments the jeweled bolt body. The pre-’64 action and three-position safety are still present, as is a hinged floorplate and sling swivel studs. Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System, which was designed specifically for the Model 70 and XPR bolt guns, is included. The barrel is free-floating and comes equipped with a muzzle brake.
