Viridian introduces Grip Laser for Springfield Armory 1911
Viridian Weapon Technologies adds a Grip Laser model for the new Springfield Armory 911 to its catalogue of laser accessories.
Now shipping, the Viridian Grip Laser automatically activates when the shooter grips the handgun, engaging targets rapidly with either a red or green visible laser. The Viridian Grip Laser offers enhanced texturing paired with a constant-on and pulse modes. The laser sight is sold pre-installed on select Springfield Armory 911 models in addition to selling separately as an add-on accessory.
“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Springfield, and we look forward to getting this unique sighting solution into the hands of customers,” said Viridian President and CEO Brian Hedeen said in a news release. “We believe that law-abiding citizens everywhere should have access to the best tools, technologies and resources to effectively protect themselves and those around them. By developing the Viridian Grip Laser, we’re giving customers an added level of reliability and life-saving power.”
Created for everyday carry, the Springfield Armory 911 is a .380 ACP chambered pistol that measures 5.5-inches long and less than 4-inches high. With a snag-free design, the handgun boasts an ambidextrous safety and brushed-satin, matte-finish stainless steel or black Nitride slide.
