KSA Confirms Details on Mini Mosin .22 Rifle (PHOTOS)
Keystone Sporting Arms has released more information on the scaled down Mosin-Nagant tribute rifle geared for smaller statured users, the KSA 91/30.
Teased since SHOT Show, the company’s new single-shot rifle looks a lot like the standard Mosin bolt-action rifle used by the Soviets in World War II, only smaller. This week, the Pennsylvania-based company has confirmed the model, which is the first in a series of five “Mini Mil-Surp” rifles, uses an action based on their popular single-shot Crickett design.
However, the Mini Mosin will have a number of nods to its symbolic ancestor to include a straight-handled bolt, scaled down Russian-style iron sights, and even Soviet arsenal “proof” stamps and markings. The first run of 500 rifles, set to become available for pre-order during the upcoming NRA Annual Meetings in Indianapolis, will ship with a custom military-style wooden crate with matching serial number.
Price on the pre-order is $499 while the standard KSA 91/30, sans crate, is set for an MSRP of $399 when it becomes available.
