EAA Introduces 12-Gauge MKA 1923 Bullpup Shotgun
European American Armory Corporation (EAA) has announced the newest addition to its product line — the MKA 1923 Bullpup shotgun.
The MKA 1923 is a compact, 12-gauge, semi-auto shotgun. It combines the ability of a bullpup with the power of a shotgun, making it great for home-defense.
It features a trigger block safety, rubber butt plate, nylon stock, removable sights and fully adjustable rear sights. This shotgun also comes with a Picatinny rail for mounting scopes, lights and lasers.
This pistol-grip trigger guard allows easy thumb access to the safety, while the foregrip provides a good resting place for the support hand. While recoil on a bullpup shotgun can be different, it is usually managed by the weight of the gun.
Shells are fed into the MKA 1923 Bullpup from a magazine. As such, the gun is can be reloaded much faster, whether for protection or in competition.
Bullpup shotguns and rifles are much easier to work in close environments. This is why some police and military units use these compact firearms for breeching and clearing houses. They are designed to have the action behind the trigger. As such, these guns have a much shorter profile, despite having a legal 18-inch barrel.
Husan Arms builds the MKA 1923 Bullpup in Turkey. The company has been producing high-quality firearms since 1988, and also makes the MKA 1919 shotgun. EAA, which as been in operation since 1990, imports the guns for the American market. The company is based in Florida and imports a variety of European type rifles, shotguns and handguns from manufacturers, such as Tanfoglio, Weihrauch and Husan Arms.
